RACE AWARDS - 2008

Most races have awards... we tried to make our awards unique and spare you the corporate looking medals and plaques.

The finishers medals are one of a kind, original, handmade medals, fabricated by the race director and a group of dedicated volunteers. Visit the Blog Page to see photos of the medals being made!

The first place awards are original artwork created by John Storkamp. The first place (overall) man and woman finishers in both the 50K and the 25K will receive a nicely framed 16" X 20" poster.

Division place awards are given to the top three male and female runners in the Open, Masters and Senior Masters division, for both the 50K and 25K. That is 36 completely unique awards! These awards are all original art prints, created by John Storkamp and are beautifully displayed in 8" X 10" frames.

All participants receive a unique t-shirt. The Shirts are the Marmot "Mesita" Shirt. The Mesita is a high quality technical tshirt made by the diehard outdoor apparel manufacturer Marmot.
